Oklahoma Sooners Softball Oklahoma Sport reviews
On Tour Forever!
I first caught Oklahoma Sooners Softball live around 1976 and have been hooked ever since. Missing them is not an option for me.
Last night's show was one of the strongest I've seen from these guys in quite some time. It's always a little sad to see Buck and Eric up there without Alan Lanier, but Richie Castellano is absolutely phenomenal and brings a special something to the lineup. Rudy Sarzo's bass playing also deserves a mention.
More and more, it seems Eric is content to let BOC be Buck's band, with most of the evening's highlights belonging to Buck ("Buck's Boogie," "Stone of Love" "Last Days of May"). The band has been together for close to four decades now, so shifts in the dynamic are inevitable. But the bottom line always remains: BOC can still rock with the best of them.
